This is my first quad, I had originally built the quad on the standard 450 frame then took it out and immediately crashed it shattering it to peaces. I then took the top plate to the body and got some aluminum towl bars and a couple lengths of wooden dowels to use as the frame and arms. I also upgraded to the raspberry pi 3 and kept the navio2. The Arms are designed to break if necessary and then easily be replaced without causing any damage to the rest of the quad. Took the time to learn 3d printing and managed to design my self some custom parts as well. Also threw the vibration dampener under the flight controller. The rest of it is zip tied together. This thing pulls hard and heavy altitude gains a couple times completely loosing my fpv signal in the processes!
