Missing log files off RS2

I have been having trouble with missing logs on the RS2. I am fairly certain that the logs are present in the device memory, because there are about 1.7 GB or data used according the the Reach interface, however there is nothing listed in recorded logs. I understand that it may be possible to use a command prompt or SSH solution to recover the missing files, but this is a little beyond my knowledge. Are there any places to start?
