Hello everyone. I am trying to perform ppk using Mavic 3 enterprise rtk and DGPS. May anyone guide me to keep timestamp setting same both in m3e and DGPS. What precautions need to be taken in setting time in both.
Thanks
Hi @inventkhan,
The GNSS receivers record time data in GPS time, so as long as the logging periods overlap, syncing should work fine. Just make sure to start recording raw log data on both the drone and your DGPS at the same time.
Could you share more details about your setup, including the DGPS device and your PPK workflow? That way, I can provide more specific suggestions.
Ok will share with you the data later. First I want to discuss that I set time zone of +5 for Pakistan and I started raw data at 7:43pm just for checking time stamp. When I check the timestamps in raw data it’s gives me 14:43 time, that’s too much weird for me. I perform this test on south g3 gnss.
I have one more question. Mavic 3 Enterprise record time stamp in utc format or gps time format?
The raw data logs are recorded in GPS time, which is why the timestamp doesn’t match your local time zone. GPS time is universal and doesn’t adjust for time zones, causing the difference you noticed on the data collecting.
For the Mavic 3 Enterprise, the MRK timestamps are in UTC, expressed in GPS seconds. This means the time is standardized to ensure a compatibility across systems.
