Am I missing something? How do I enter the correct coordinates there is no negative (-ve) or minus sign available when entering the longitude value

Some Android devices provide a default keyboard without a minus sign. So I second what Abel said: to resolve this issue, you can install another keyboard from Google Play instead of the default one.
