M2 module connection with internet

Hello, i have one question.
We are using the M2 module as Ntrip base, and for conecting to the internet we are using a ethernet cable adapter connected to the usb port.
My question it’s, with this type of connection the IP (internet protocol) of the base will still remaing as 192.168.42.1 or should be diferent?

Hi Douglas,

Welcome to our community!

Based on our tests, Reach M2 will stay in the hotspot mode in such a setup. So the IP address will remain the default as you mentioned: 192.168.42.1.

Note that Reach won’t see any firmware updates in this setup, because it gets them over the air via Wi-Fi.
