my m+ not showing up or connecting to a wifi. then i observe it is overheating.

Did something specific happen before? Did you change anything in your setup, for example, the power source? A single red LED usually comes up when the power source is inappropriate, thus, the device may overheat and doesn’t power on. Please check if it meets electrical specs.
You can plug a stable power source like power bank or USB wall adapter and check whether Reach overheats and shows up in the app.
