M+ Lora Radio not powering when a cable is connected to S1

Hello,
I am using a Reach RS+ as a base station and a M+ module for the rover, when I power the M+ module using the USB port everything works fine and I can get an RTK fix over the LoRa radio. However when I then connect a cable to connect the S1 port to a Cube Orange flight controller the lights on the LoRa radio go out. The lights still stay on on the M+ module its just the LoRa radio that is having issues. Does anyone know what I need to do to connect the S1 port to my flight controller and keep the LoRa radio powered? Both the RS+ and M+ have version 32 firmwares.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @gagi,

Welcome to our forum!

You can use only the S2 port for the Emlid LoRa radio. The S1 port can be used for other third-party radios. Could you please try this way and see if it helps?

Iā€™d also like to add this guide as a helpful reference for your setup.
