List of file types

Hi all,

Browsing around euref and unavco, I see a lot of different file types.
I can’t find a list of what they all mean, and my Googling skills have come short, it seems.

I am in particular looking for the difference between .18g and .18n, and what 18m and 18s means.
I have also seen .crx packages. Are these complete sets or?

Bonus question: what does the 18 mean? I have seen a few files with .16 as well?
