Is uart or USB free on navio2

Hello,
I am about to use teraranger one as range finder on navio2, since there is available ros node to interface teraranger one with autopilot through uart/usb. I am wondering if the uart or usb is free to use for navio2.

I recommend using USB. People prefer to use UART port to connect a radio.
