Is there a way to run Arducopter software on RPi without a Navio board?

Hey, is there a way to run Navio’s image software without Navio board?
I want to learn and test some ROS code before ordering hardware but on stable image I get “No INS backends available” and on beta it starts but only for a second…

You can try to run SITL

No INS backends available means that ArduPilot is not able to see any sensors, this is because Navio is not connected.
