Is it possible to program the automatic collection of points in distance?
I want to collect points automatically every certain distance.
Eg I want to trace a route, but I want to program the reach + automatically collect points every 10 meters to install the gps in a vehicle.
That would be nice.
Apps like Locus GIS or even AlpineQuest do the track feature very well.
You may also need a mock location app (android), however I think Locus has external bluetooth gps support…
you could use a python script to do that in post processing or I think that GPSBabel can thinout your track leaving a point only every 10 m.
That would be useful. I currently do time or proximity-based auto topos.
