Is GNSS antenna a requirement for GPS on Navio2?

So I am currently waiting on the GNSS antenna I ordered to arrive through the mail. In the meantime, while I’m waiting for the antenna to arrive, I was wondering if I could actually use the GPS on the Navio2 without a GNSS antenna. Is the GNSS antenna an absolute requirement for the Navio2’s GPS to be able to get a GPS fix and output GPS coordinates? Or is it possible to get a GPS fix without the GNSS antenna?

Hello,

An antenna is needed. You can use your Navio but you will not have any position control. You can fly in stabilise or altitude hold mode.

If you have a spare GPS somewhere as M8N GPS for Pixhawk, you can use it via UART serial (and I2c for external compass).
