Integration of Reach and 3DR Solo

Firmware version for 3DR Solo is 2.4.2 and the Reach is currently up to date.

What settings are needed on the Reach for it to be used in place of the drone’s on board GPS. We have connected the Reach to drone, but are unable to get a GPS signal from the Reach into the drone. Is there a tutorial anywhere that can walk us through how to do this?

We removed the drone’s on board GPS and have wired the Reach in it’s place. We’re not really sure where to go from here as far as trouble shooting.

Can you select GPS_TYPE=13 on the Mission Planner software ? Does it detect ERB then ?

If not, you most probably will need to load ArduCopter 3.5-rc11 firmware version into the Solo in order to use the Reach 2.6.0 FW.
