I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to seek guidance on the connectivity between an Emlid GNSS base and a DJI Matrice 4E drone through the Emlid Caster service.
I am currently setting up the transmission of RTCM corrections from the Emlid GNSS base to the drone via Emlid Caster and have some questions regarding system compatibility and optimal configuration:
- GNSS base connectivity: Must it remain connected to a Wi-Fi network at all times, or are there alternative ways to maintain RTCM correction transmission?
- DJI Matrice 4E drone connectivity: If the base and the drone are in separate locations, does the drone require an independent Wi-Fi connection to receive RTCM corrections?
- Recommended configuration: Are there specific parameters that should be adjusted on the GNSS base or drone to ensure a stable and precise connection?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on these aspects, as well as any additional documentation that may help optimize the setup.
