How use other channel for flight modes?

If we can´t use the channels form 5 to 8, how I can use the flight modes in channel 9?
I use navio2 + Raspberry pi 3 + Arducopter 3.4.rc1


This tip is about auxiliary PWM switches. You can use any of the RCInput channels.

Then should not have problem with auxiliary switches with sbus , right?


Yes. The latest release supports up to 16 channels. Are we clear on the terminology, though? You do mean SBUS RCInput channels, right? If that is the question, then the things I just wrote apply.
