It’s occurred to me that all the testing I’ve been doing has been over my wifi network. So how can the rover status be monitored using the reach app whilst connected to a pixhawk using the standard 433 telemetry link?

Andrew, the app is available over Wi-Fi only. You can monitor fix status and number of satellites in Mission Planner.
