How to make the drone that can do Indoor Hovering with Navio+

Can I use the Optical Flow for indoor hovering with Navio+?

As you know. Positioning is import feature in order to make a drone to fly indoor. GPS module makes it available only outdoor.

As recording to link http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-mouse-based-optical-flow-sensor-adns3080/#testing_the_sensor
He said that Mouse-based Optical Flow Sensor (ADNS3080) was working well with Pixhawk.
If The Navio+ can do it too, How can it be possible?

Thanks in advance.

Were you able to successfully setup the optical flow with Navio+? I’ve followed the wiki instructions, but I’m still not able to get OF.bodyX, OF.FlowX, IMU.GyroX match.

[Copter-3.3.3 release]

EKF_GPS_TYPE → 3
FLOW_ENABLE → 1
FLOW_FXSCALER → 0
FLOW_FYSCALER → 0
FLOW_ORIENT_YAW → -9000 (PX4FLOW’s Y axis facing forward and X axis left.)

LOG_BITMASK → 131071

RNGFND_GNDCLEAR 12
RNGFND_TYPE 8

Never mind. I just revisited Randy’s post; where he lists the things not supported by the Navio+

“A few things are not supported yet including the safety switch, external LEDs, buzzer and Optical Flow.”

Thanks! Comment!

I think It was hard to say that Navio can support Optical flow until the module test is over. Navio board is just group of sensors. you know, They don’t have their own firmware. So I am going to bring up OF using SPI port on Navio that is connected Rpi2. I’ve been waiting OF from shopping mall…
