Hello, I’ve been trying to connect my Reach RS3 via Bluetooth following the instructions in this tutorial (Getting Reach coordinates on Android via BT | Reach RS/RS+), but running into some persistent issues.
The receiver shows up in my Android Bluetooth settings and initially pairs, but then immediately disconnects. After that, I can’t get it to reconnect at all. I suspect part of the issue might be that Android never prompts for the PIN during the Bluetooth pairing process.
Interestingly, I can connect to the RS3 just fine using BLE through the Emlid Flow app (version 11.6), and my receiver firmware is at version 31.8. I’m also able to connect without any issues using my iPhone 15 Pro via classic Bluetooth in the settings menu, and it doesn’t require a PIN for the connection.
It seems the problem might be specific to Android’s Bluetooth implementation. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution? Any help would be appreciated.
