GIS-App on iOS with bluetooth connection to RS2

Hi,
I’m looking for a GIS app for iOS which is able to use the determined coordinates of the RS2 via a bluetooth connection.

Is there such an GIS-app?

Hi Florian,

At the moment, it’s not possible to pair Reach RS2 with iOS devices via Bluetooth. To get Reach coordinates via Bluetooth, you will need an Android device.

However, if an iOS app supports TCP connection, it should be possible to use it with your Reach RS2 this way.

iOS doesn’t play nice with BT. That is one of the reasons I dislike them. I use a BT device with my stuff all the time that utilizes the SPP (serial port protocol) which iOS disables unless it is an Apple approved device. BTW, it costs big $$$ to get Apple approved.
