I’m using a laptop as a GCS and I will be using this software from different locations over the course of this project. I saw under the instructions that you connect to your GCS with the following line
sudo ArduCopter-quad -A udp::14550
I was wondering if I will be able to enter this line again at a later date if my laptop is on a different network because I am in a different location. I wouldn’t want to test this on one network and be unable to use it somewhere else.
I’m completely new to this, so I’m sorry if this is obvious.
You can save multiple settings, just as your ordinary laptop does.
One other simple method I use is to use the hotspot on the phone.
In this way, you wouldn’t have to worry even in an open field where there’s no standard wifi signal.
