I’ve started bumping into an issue with the FIX warning screen in Emlid Flow Survey. Sometimes when I lose FIX (after going under a tree or along a building) and the “Waiting for FIX…” warning comes up (see screen capture below), it stays on long after I have a fix again (while in a wide open area) and won’t turn off until I exit the program. Just a bug in the program or does this maybe indicate something else going on? Using Emlid Flow ver 11.5 on IPhone 12. Thanks.
Hi @SteveB,
What’s the firmware version installed on your Reach RS3? Also, does the issue persist when tilt is enabled?
If you could reproduce it again, could you please share the screenshot of the Status Overview Pane? Is it showing the FIX solution as well? Thank you!
Edit:
Changed the question to understand the issue better.
I get the same thing regardless of receiver model on Flow iOS app v11.6. Restarting the app shows that it has a normal fixed solution.
Firmware ver 32.2 on the RS3s. I haven’t used Tilt so not sure on that question. Thanks.
The Status Overview Pane also shows the FIX solution, right? I’m going to report this to the developers. Thank you so much!
I can’t say for certain but I believe so. I’ll pay attention to that if it happens again. I also do not use tilt comp.
I see. Thank you! I confirmed with the developers that this is a UI defect. This shouldn’t affect the accuracy of your measurements in any way.
We’ll keep you posted if there is any news on this. Thank you!
I get the same thing and I don’t use tilt compensation either. RS3 firmware 32.2 but I think it was happening on version 32 as well.
Hi @joe.gatti,
Are you using an iOS or an Android device, and which version of Emlid Flow is installed on your mobile device?
Hi Ruth, I’m using iOS running Emlid Flow 11.6.
