Luke Wijnberg of 3DroneMapping is one of our pro-users who recently ran some accuracy tests of Reach RS2. Luke collected seven points with the RS2 rover acquiring live corrections from the Reach RS2 base placed over survey monument. When the positions were measured, he captured the same points using local VRS corrections service using Reach RS2 rover.

According to this quick test, the mean difference between points measured with the local base and VRS is well below 2 cm.

“I’m a happy surveyor! Having the robustness of dual frequency, longer baselines and faster initialization is really good. The size, colour, shape, and weight are perfect.”—Luke Wijnberg, CEO, 3DroneMapping.

More reports from our pro-users to come. Stay tuned!
