Feature Request: Device Serial Number or Name and Photo Tagging

Hi All,

I would like to express our extreme pleasure in using Emlid Flow 360 for our construction projects. It has allowed us to document construction phases and conduct inspections in an unprecedented way. We have a fleet of RS2, RS3, and RX units with automated processing on the back end. Sometimes we need to know what unit was used to measure points. Is it possible to include the device name or serial number with each measurement for quality control purposes?

We also have a need to document items that we are surveying with pictures. We currently tag images with high precision points using time stamps, but it can be quite cumbersome to navigate in and out of the flow app and maintain a fix. Mock location is an option, but is hard to setup for an average technician especially if changing units. Would it be possible to integrate a feature where a user can open the camera app through flow 360 and take a picture and tag the file name with the measurement points?

Thanks for sharing your experience with Emlid Flow 360! It’s great to hear it’s helping with your construction projects.

Including the receiver name or serial number with each measurement sounds like a useful addition, and I can see how an integrated way to capture and tag images would make things smoother. I’ve shared both suggestions with our team for consideration. While I don’t have an ETA to share right now, I’ll keep you posted on any updates.
