Emlid Studio geotagging error

Hello All,
I’ve provided Emlid Studio with all the files it requires for the Drone Data processing workflow. Base’s RINEX file, DJI M3E .obs file, .nav and .mark file.
No luck. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Peter,

Looks like you’ve got all the right files in there! To get a better idea of what might be going wrong, I’d like to take a closer look. Would you mind sending everything over to support@emlid.com? You can use Google Drive or WeTransfer.

Thank you!

I had the same issue, turned out my file names and folder names were extremely long and this can cause errors. After shorting the name of the .obs , .nav , .mark files (not the photos) it worked.

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot.

Sent it over to Marta @ Emlid. Thanks.

Tried that but no luck. Oddly enough, if I use the .nav file from my 1st attempt at the flight (I had to abort due to improper camera settings) it does process though the shots aren’t evenly spaced out (distance shooting).

Hi Peter,

Thanks for sharing that. It looks like the issue could be with the drone navigation file, as it seems to contain data from only a few satellites. This might be why the solution wasn’t calculated properly. It’d be useful to check the nav file from your first flight to see why it worked better.

I’ve already emailed my thoughts, so please take a look.

Thank you for the thorough and quick response :).
