Hello Kormel, Ruth et al,
Shortly after I bought an RS3, almost a year ago, I reported on the forum that Emlid Studio couldn’t complete any Drone or Stop & Go processing when used on an M3 Macbook Pro. Static & Kinematic processing work/compete without any issues, but as soon as EmlidStudio is tasked to do anything with the CSV files, it simply sticks at 'Processing" and needs to be Force-Quit. (The same files work without issue if transferred to another older intel iMac, so it’s not a problem with the .csv file or data).
I’ve tried Emlid Studio with different Mac OS versions that I have, and Drone/Stop-and-Go processing only works on the Intel chipset, not on the Apple Silicon M Series. The M3 has had both Sonoma and Sequoia installed, and it hasn’t worked on either OS version.
It’s a major pain in the backside to have to stop work on one computer, start up another computer in another office, copy the files over to it, run the processing, then copy all the results back again. Not to say anything of the risk of ending up with multiple copies of data and getting confused as to which is corrected and which isn’t.
Apple have now released the 4th gen of the M-series and it would be great if I could do everything on one computer and let my poor old iMac retire… so, do you have any idea when you’re going to release a version of EmlidStudio that works with the M-Series systems?
Thanks
