Emlid RS+ units not charging (similar to others)

I’m having a similar problem to others posts I’ve seen in the community:

I have an Reach RS+ that was new last year and we used through the summer of 2018. We placed it on the shelf, fully charged, and only recently took it off recently in preparation for another. The unit will not turn on and will not charge. Using different USB cables and adaptors has not effected any change. In a couple of instances, the amber charge light turned on and blinked for a few second, but then stops.

Please advise anyone if they know the cause/solution to this problem.

Please contact us on support@emlid.com and provide the following info:

  • Reach Serial Number (it’s printed under the bar code at the bottom)
  • Order date and number
  • Shipping address
