Emlid Flow 8.7; Firmware Flash Tool 1.9.2

The Emlid Flow v8.7 Android app will show the Firmware version that’s installed on the RX.

What would be nice to see in Emlid Flow is some notice affirming either:

• You are running the latest firmware (v1.nnn) for your RX
• There is an updated version of firmware (v1.nnnn) available for your RX

Similarly, when running the Firmware Flash Tool v1.9.2 on the Windows PC, e.g., RX, RX connected, Select firmware image

it would be nice to see in the Firmware Flash Tool a notice affirming either:

• You are already running the latest firmware (v1.nnn) for your RX, update anyway Yes/ No
• There is an updated version of firmware (v1.nnnn) available for your RX, download and install now? Yes/ No

The main idea being for the user to know from both Emlid Flow and the Firmware Flash Tool, at a glance, where the user’s GNSS device stands; either the firmware is current and up to date, or there is a new update available; not just notice of when new firmware is ready.
