Emlid Caster to Trimble Access

Hi guys,

I bought an RS2 to act as an RTK base station and looking to broadcast corrections via the emlid ntrip caster to a roving Trimble R8 with a TDC600 running Trimble Access.

I’ve setup a survey style in Acesss for the connection and it does connect to the mount point but then does not appear to receive the base data. I know the RS2 is outputting RTCM3 and I know the R8 can receive them.

Internet connections present at both ends.

Has anyone experience of doing this?

Hi @hugh.power,

3rd-party receivers often require legacy RTCM3 messages instead of MSM ones. Did you try to enable them? It can be done in the Base mode settings.
