I want to use EDGE in order to have a mini pc on the drone and communicate with it in the ground with TCP/IP.
Is that possible with EDGE?
Is there a how to, in order to explore this possibility?

Hello!
Edge is essentially a Linux computer. So it already communicates with a GCS using Wi-Fi. Right now the default is to use UDP.
Could you please tell us more what exactly you’re trying to achieve so we could help you?

I want to use a Velodyne Lidar on the Drone that has ethernet (TCP-IP). My goal is to send these Lidar data to the ground in real-time. Do you think it is possible?
A question of bandwidth & amount of data. How do you plan to transfer that data to the GCS?
