DXF Export Issue

I am running Emlid Flow 12.2 now and I have an issue with the DXF export. I have and export from a project that was done on 4/6/25 and an export from 5/2/25. The older export contains my points and has text that is properly scaled. The new export has large text with no points. I have noticed a change to the export dialog as well. Previously you were able to select DXF points only and DXF with text attributes. Now you select DXF and you are taken to another dialog which allows you to select the individual attributes you would like in the export.

Any suggestions as to what my issue might be? I can’t seem to post images here unfortunately.

The same thing happens to me.

Hi Jason,

Yes, with the new update, the export page was redesigned, but it shouldn’t affect the process.

I would like to check this for you on my end and see if I can see the cause of the issue. Can you send the old and recent DXF file to me via email at support@emlid.com?

Files e-mailed.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to post a quick update on this.

So, when exporting in DXF, it’s needed to choose the local coordinate system on the export page, as seen below.

This is because DXF files only support local coordinate systems, which are in linear units (meters, feet, etc). When exported in a Global, the units are in degrees, but treated as meters. This may explain the distortion and rearranging of points.
