YOu can use most as GCP’s and a few as verification points.
Camera calibration is an absolute must, it prevents errors being hidden. Agisoft Lens is soo easy to use, you only have to do it once, but do it well.
Can you confirm that you mean Agisoft Photoscan Pro. GCP’s are not a Standard feature)

After creating a calibration with Agisoft Lens, in the File menu you will find “Save Calibration” that allows you to export calibration data in XML format to be import into the “Tools Menu → Camera Calibration” window of PhotoScan.
