Why isn’t it possible to have a dot in point name?
It would help when importing futures as line.

This sounds like a request for line support in ReachView 3. If this is what you’re talking about, it’s already on our roadmap.
As an alternative, I’d suggest using third-party software to collect line data for now. You can see a list of tested applications here.
