Does the Reachview RX connect to the iphone?

If so does it only work with ArcGIS field maps, or just the ReachView App?

Currently we use an RS+ with an Android phone. Does the RX and RS+ connect similarly?

Hi Erik,

Reach RX works only with ReachView 3 on iOS. On Androids, you can also work with 3rd-party data collectors. Here’s the guide about this.

For ReachView 3, Reach RX uses BLE connection. Reach RS+ can also be accessed via Wi-Fi. Other than that, the connection process is the same.

In case anyone finds this thread, we have introduced a new RX MFi that can connect to third-party applications on iOS. The MFi-certified Reach RX has the Made for Apple badge on the package and the MFi mark on the unit’s bottom. You can check how to integrate it with ArcGIS Field Maps here.
