Delta 8 RC input issues

Hello,

I’m having an issue with the Navio 2 receiving or showing RC inputs. I currently have a FrSky Delta 8 with the CPPM connected to the Navio. And when I go to the initial setup and to the radio calibration, there are no RC inputs shown. I checked that all the correct pins are connected and that the transmitter I’m using (Taranix X9D -plus) is connected to the receiver. I’ve ran the following commands on the raspberry pi:
cat /sys/kernel/rcio/status/alive
=> 1
cd /sys/kernel/rcio/rcin
sudo cat connected
=> 0

Any suggestions on what could be the issue? Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Have you enabled CPPM on Delta 8 by putting a jumper
between pins 3 and 4? Can you post a picture of how everything is connected?

Thanks for the fast reply, I had a jumper between pins 3 and 4 but still no cppm signal. However, it turns out that I needed to bind it to the transmitter while pins 3 and 4 are connected. (and removed after) RC input is working fine now!
