Same problem here. IOS 15.5. iPhone 13 mini. ReachView 7.3. Reach RS2
Hi @jjkurkif,
Thanks for the details! Which firmware version is installed on your Reach RS2? If the same setup worked well before, had anything unusual happened before you noticed the issue?
I do not know which firmware version I have as I cannot see the setting tab. Is there another way to view this information? I haven’t surveyed in a while, but it worked with the previous version of ReachView.
Hi @jjkurkif,
It should be possible to check the firmware version in the Reach Panel web interface. You can open it as follows:
-
Connect to Reach and tap its name
-
Choose Reach Panel in the popup menu
Also, please download a Simple System report and share it with me. It’s available in Reach Panel via Control panel → System report → Generate simple report.
The firmware version is the most current.

Great, thanks! I’ll look into the report with the team.
The latest stable firmware is now 28.4. Your unit works in the hotspot mode, so it can’t check for the new firmware versions as it doesn’t have Internet access. To update the device, you can connect it to a Wi-Fi network or a mobile hotspot.
I updated the firmware and it works now. Thanks for your help!
