How far is the distance that you can send corrections to the rover using BT?
Maybe 25 feet but thats stretching it
It’s not easy to determine what is the maximum range of corrections transmission using Bluetooth. Like any wireless technology, it highly depends on the environmental conditions. Humidity, precipitation, or any physical obstacles can reflect and scatter radio waves.
We haven’t conducted the test of the Bluetooth range. I believe, there is a need to check the surroundings and natural conditions in each individual case. However, as David has mentioned, the approximate average range is around 8 to 10 meters.
I just wanted to know because I read a Sokkia GPS that has a range of 300m via BT so I thought if this was becoming the industry standard.
