Coordinates conversion

Hello,

I need some help.
There are some earth coordinates in a contract but the format is unknown to me.
Can someone please convert them to normal coordinates?

329063,33N 579437,75E
329058,99N 579446,968

Thank you,
George

We would need to know the datum of these coords.
Also, what do you consider normal coordinates?

I only know they are earth absolute coordinates, but I dont know the system.
I’m not a specialist. Normal coordinates for me are in degrees, minutes, seconds or similar that can be searched on GoogleMaps.

Thanks!

These are what is known as “UTM” coordinates in metres within a flat grid.

Because the UTM grids repeat in vertical stripes known as zones around the globe, these same coordinates also repeat in many places and each one being a completely different set of Lat/Lon degree coordinates.

So you need to know 1. which zone you are in, and 2. you also need to know what datum applies to both the UTM grid, and the Lat/Lon before anyone can help you more.

You should confirm with whoever provided the coordinates, and Google more details on the terms above if you need more explanations.

The position is around Bucharest/Romania.
Unfortunately I dont have the technical background, I dont know what datum is even after googling.
