In the Reach RS+ I have been adjusting the “Coordinate accumulation time” slider in Average Single Base Mode. Is there anyway to increase this time to gain more accuracy, for say, 8 hours or more?

Increasing accumulation time even up to 8 hours won’t help to increase an absolute accuracy much when averaging in Single mode.
If you need high absolute accuracy for your base position, you can log raw data for several hours and then post-process it using the closest CORS.
