Control points

Hi I was wondering if anyone sets up their base station in a good position that they mark themselves but then use the rover to collect the known positions in the area.
I was hoping to do this as the known positions are not great spot to set up a base station

Is it possible to do this, I know it seems backwards to most but I’d rather place the base in a position that suits me and just go capture the known positions with the rover and then somehow apply the error to the base to change it to a corrected position

Yes you can set your rover at your known point , turn on base mode to send corrections to your actual base ,input the manual coordinates, then at your base set base to average fix . After all that is done set rover as rover again and go.

That’s good our users gave you an idea that works to you.
