Connection via USB?

I know the micro-USB port is used for charging, but can it also be used for data coming from the Reach RS to a Samsung Note 8 Smartphone USB-C connector? I guess also to a Windows tablet also? Is the USB OTG connector the solution? Would I use the SERIAL connection in ReachView?

Just in case BT uses too much battery etc would USB use less? WiFi TCP even less?

I have not tried with a note but it does work with win10

Might need a rooted device or something.
