Hello, i am trying to connect my rover to an external base. I configured unit as rover and configured IP and port of the external service together with NTRIPCLI.
What really puzzles me is the kind of mount point i should use of the one that the public base supports:
service / mount point
RTK MAC / RTK_MAC/MAX_RTCM3
RTK VRS / RTK_VRS_RTCM3
RTK iMAX / RTK_iMAX_RTCM3
RTK NRT / RTK_NRT_RTCM3
Just a wild guess, but VRS sound something smart to connect.
All of them work, they just have different characteristics.
My problem was in the way i was sending my position to the base, once i picked “single” it all worked.
I just had little time to test a vit after it started working but on first look it is wayyyy easier to get a fix when using a ntrip caster service, instead of own base.
Further testing tomorrow.
