Clarifying basic concept

I’m building My first Copter with a Navio 2 and here is my drone build:

I have several question

  • do the PPM encoder work out of the box or do I need to add some tweaks to make it work with Navio ?
  • If I want to use Loiter mode / Return to Launch do I need Telemetry support on my RC device ?

PPM encoder should work without any tweaking.
There’s no need for telemetry support in RC, these modes are switched by changing a value of one of the channels.
