I’m building My first Copter with a Navio 2 and here is my drone build:
- Q450 frame
- RCTIMER SL2212 920kv Motors
- Navio 2 / Rpi2
- Turnigy 9x with PPM encoder (http://fr.aliexpress.com/item/PPM-Encoder-Decoder-Board-for-PX4-and-Paparazzi-Autopilot-Flight-Control/32283471669.html)
- 5800mAh 25C 3S Lipo
I have several question
- do the PPM encoder work out of the box or do I need to add some tweaks to make it work with Navio ?
- If I want to use Loiter mode / Return to Launch do I need Telemetry support on my RC device ?
