Cell Networks

What cellular networks support the Emlid RS2+ in the US for NTRIP Caster? What success have you had? What networks have given you trouble? I’m seeing that many networks, especially those with the best rates on data, don’t support “internet devices” like GNSS receivers.

Hi @jaredplnormand,

Reach RS2+ has a built-in LTE modem. So 4G/3G/2G SIM cards should work just fine. I recommend you choose regular SIM cards with no complications and unusual features. Since RTCM3 corrections are lightweight, you won’t need much mobile data as well.

As for providers, I remember confirmations that AT&T SIM cards worked fine. But probably US users can share more experience on working with different providers.
