Hi,
I am trying to upgrade the Navio 2 distribution using the sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade command. However, it does not appear to be able to find the relevant files on the emlid server and I get the error message: Err http://files.emlid.com/debian/ jessie/main rcio-dkms all 0.6.3
404 Not Found
E: Failed to fetch http://files.emlid.com/debian/pool/main/r/rcio-dkms/rcio-dkms_0.6.3_all.deb 404 Not Found
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could you please post output of emlidtool
, please?
I would appreciate it if someone out there could test the following command with the Navio2
pi@navio: ~ $ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
I have tried this command but it doesn’t work because the files are not available on the emlid server. Is anyone else having this same problem?
Thanks and regards,
Luke
Hi George,
I entered the following
pi@navio:~ emlidtool
and got
-bash: emlidtool: command not found
You need to install new stable Raspbian image as per docs.
I install emlidtool and got the following message:
emlidtool version: 0.8.8
Vendor: Emlid Limited
Product: Navio 2
Issue: Raspberry Pi reference
Kernel: 4.4.6-4d0ae01-emlid-v7+
Trying to run tests
must be type, not classobj
emlidtool -h to get more help
So, are you saying I need to start with a completely new installation and that I cannot upgrade my current version?
Unfortunately, yes. Too many backwards incompatible changes have been introduced. The newer image is easier to work with. Give it a try.
Ok George, no problem. I’ll start with the new installation. Thanks very much for your assistance and I have been really enjoying the Navio 2!
Kind regards,
Luke
