Can I make a copy of a project file before I make changes and try localization so that I do not lose my original data if I make a mistake?
thanks
Yes, you can. You can also revert back to your original CRS settings if you don’t like your localization.
So how do I make a copy of a project folder?
thanks
I assume when you say folder you just mean the individual project? Just setup a new one, export any data you need from the existing one and import it into the new one. You can even load the localization if you saved it as a custom CRS in the existing project. There is no direct copy/duplicate project. I find this easy to do on flow360.emlid.com.
Thanks for the info
Hi @minotminot,
Welcome to the forum!
It’s always good to keep a backup before making any changes, for sure. I see Michael already shared some tips for that. Still, I get how having a project duplication option would save time, and I’ll pass this idea on to the team.
thanks
