I am setting up three new RS+ units and the third unit will not go into wi-fi mode (solid blue light) when starting, so I cannot configure for hotspot, etc. The centre blue light quick flashes briefly, but then goes out.
I have attempted to flash the firmware using v29.2, but that process fails.
Has anyone had a similar issue?
Make sure that all sources of WiFi are off. I have noticed that even if your saved sources are in range that it has gotten stuck a few times when there was an overabundance of other signals. It’s like it gets stuck in scanning mode. Maybe you could wrap it in tin foil as you turn it on for about 5 minutes and see if that diminishes the signals enough to make it default.

Hmm, I don’t remember similar cases. Have you tried reflashing the receiver via other USB ports or cables? Was it of any help? Do you have another laptop to try reflashing via it?
