Hello, my Samsung A15 phone is constantly losing its connection to my new RS3. The connection fails after a few seconds and other times it fails after several minutes. The Emlid app says “Connection was Lost”
Often when I try to reconnect to the RS3 via Bluetooth in Emlid Flow, it says “Can’t connect to Reach.”
My RS3 firmware (v32.2) and the Android version on my phone is up to date.
I have NTRIP Client installed if that is relevant. I’ve combed through the posts and have not come across any topics that describe this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi James,
Let’s sort this out together.
Is that when you’re connected via the Reach hotspot? Here are some settings to check:
-
Disable Battery Optimization for Emlid Flow to prevent Android from restricting its background processes.
-
Turn off Mobile Data while connected to the Reach hotspot—some phones prioritize cellular data over Wi-Fi, which can cause drops.
We have these BLE requirements, and it looks like your setup meets them. Please try forgetting the RS3 in your Bluetooth settings and pairing it again—this sometimes helps.
If you have another mobile device, testing with it could help narrow down whether the issue is phone-specific.
