Base station power reduction?

Can features such as WiFi and BlueTooth be turned off when running as a base station in order to help conserve power usage if say running from batteries? Correction data would be output to the rover through the UART with a wireless radio such as Xbee.

Thanks.

Robin,

Bluetooth is turned off by default. We intend to add features to turn off Wi-Fi after timeout, but there are higher priority tasks at the moment.

Communicated power levels from base stations differ significantly contingent upon the expected region or ‘cell’ that they are giving inclusion to. Ordinarily sent power from an open air base station might go from a couple of watts to around 100 watts; while the result force of indoor base stations is even lower.
