I for one see the convenience of controlling the EMLID via Bluetooth. But why is Wi-Fi in Android devices greyed out? I can control everything with BLE IOS.
Is this a limitation for Androids or something else?
Maybe try switching airplane mode on and off to see if any change? Reboot etc etc?
It is a limitation on Android. IOS will allow you to select and connect via wifi passthrough without fully pairing in your device wifi settings. Android doesn’t have that capability at this time and instead you would have to connect via wifi to access those settings.
Hi @avelez,
On Android, it’s expected that some options are greyed out. We’re working on having full access to the settings on Android devices via Bluetooth.
In the meantime, connecting to the receivers via Wi-Fi to access all the settings is still an option.
Wow. That’s a first. Usually it’s the restrictive Apple iOS that we run into walls with.
Keyword, “currently”. I’m sure Android will hopefully fix this.
Actually that isn’t the norm.
Hi @timd1971,
For now, it works so on Android devices while connected via Bluetooth. Did you have a different experience with the Bluetooth connection?
