I am consistently seeing 6 more points than image files when processing drone data, so I’m unable to tag photos. But we randomly discovered that by deleting six lines of commented text from the top section of the _events.pos file and dropping that back into Emlid Studio, the counts miraculously match. It seems that there is some kind of counting bug when it’s counting up the points.
I am unable to upload files because I’m new. Here are the steps I took in Emlid Studio.
Add obs file from DJI drone.
Add MRK from drone.
Convert base T04 file to rinex.
Add .25o base file in
Add .25c, g, l, n navigation files
Click Process
Add folder with photos
Click Tag photos
ERROR - Couldn’t process - There are more points than images: 284 points and 278 images.
Yes, it was a difference of exactly 6 for three flights. This was the first time we’ve seen it and we’ve used this drone plenty of times. I asked the pilot and he said he did not change any pre-flight settings or anything.
We just did another flight. I’ll see what happens with that one.
I’d like to reiterate that we were able to work around the error message by simply deleting six lines, presumably comments, from the top of the “…_events.pos” file.
It’s odd that six images are missing from your three flights. Could you please send us the raw data logs so I can investigate further? You can send them to support@emlid.com. Thanks!
Definitely odd. I could understand one or two as many flight softwares perform a camera check/focal calibration, but 6 is an odd number unless something has changed in the way the drone is writing the MRK. Which drone are you using? Was there a recent update?
